Mumbai: Asalfa Sports Club (Ghatkopar) beat Aniket Sports Club (Bhandup) by six wickets to clinch the Hanuman Sports Club-organised silver jubilee night cricket tournament at Tilak Nagar, Chembur recently.

The tournament in its 25th year, was inaugurated in 1988 by Sachin Tendulkar, then a promising young cricketer who had not yet made his India debut. This time, another young cricketer, Prithvi Shaw did the honours at the two-day 16-team tournament.
Asalfa SC managed by Swaroop Phalke received a cash award of Rs 50,000, while Aniket SC were richer by Rs 25000.
Former India cricketer and India's 2007 World Twenty20 coach Lalchand Rajput was the chief guest and gave away the prizes.
