In football, often dominating teams go on to lose in the tie-breaker. The inter-school Division II semi-final between Don Bosco (Borivli) and Cathedral and John Cannon was a classic example. Don Bosco called the shots for most part of the game but failed to find the all-important goal. After a goalless draw at the end of regulation time, fate of the teams was to be decided by the penalty shoot-out.
Cathedral's Aarya Shah emerged hero of the day. The defender who manned the bar, effected a couple of saves as the Colaba side won 5-4 via the tie breaker.
Aarya said, "I started off asu00a0 'keeper so I was confident. It is a great achievement since we always wanted to see our school playing in the first division."
