Former French Open winner Ana Ivanovic will be without coach Heinz Gunthardt at this week's Bali Tournament of Champions after an apparent scheduling clash ended her 10-month relationship with the Swiss.
Gunthardt, mentor in the 1990s to Steffi Graf, had been with Ivanovic since February and had helped the Serb raise her ranking from 65th to 24th.
Ivanovic, No 1 briefly in spring 2008, is the marquee name in the eight-woman field at the year-end championship for the 2010 winners of WTA International-level titles.
Others who will play when the round-robin begins Thursday are 40-year-old wild card Kimiko Date Krumm of Japan and Daniela Hantuchova.
