One London's top socialites, Tamara admits motherhood has made her grounded in life. In an interview to Daily Mail, the 30-year-old explains her enthusiasm about breast-feeding: "It's much more than I ever expected," she says.

"When I was pregnant, I said to Jay (husband) I was going to breast-feed the baby for maybe two months at the most and then switch to formula milk. My sister breast-fed for 14 months and I said, 'No way, Petra, they have teeth!'. But now I want to breast-feed her forever.

"She's had no formula and if I have to give her a bottle of milk that I pumped and I can't do it myself, I have an emotional breakdown. I'm that mum stuck in traffic coming home from work and ringing my nanny begging her not to feed Sophia, so I can do it when I get home."

Weird feeling
The rich Tamara had all help at her fingertips, but she claimed to have hardly used any of it. "I had a maternity nurse to start with, but I didn't really use any of the help I got in," she says.

"It's weird, you don't really want them in your house all the time. I also did up Sophia's nursery and she's not slept in there once yet. She sleeps in with us every night. It's not like a maternity nurse can breast-feed her for me, so I do it myself. "I get up through the night and Jay, bless him, sleeps through and doesn't wake up. In the morning he'll say, 'Did she wake up for a feed?' He's got no idea how hard it is."

Tamara, in fact, seems to be revelling in her experience. "I'm fine with being up in the night.

"I used to sleep like a teenager. Now I don't sleep and I don't mind it at all. I knew I would love my baby obviously. But I had no idea I could even feel love like this," she says, rubbishing reports suggesting she has a personal chef, a trainer or 55 nannies.

She however, admits being paranoid about security. "The reality of having money and being who I am is I need to protect myself.

"I've had a serious kidnap threat and I was blackmailed by an ex-boyfriend. Unfortunately, I'm a target. And now I have a baby and I just feel like I need to have security. Regarding protecting my daughter, I need to have security everywhere I go," she signed off.
