He is eyeing the LA Clippers that is left owner-less after Donald Sterling was banned from the sport for life due to a racism row.

"I want to buy the Clippers, yes I do," said Mayweather, the WBC welterweight champion.

"When I am not boxing or training I can walk across the road to the Clippers every day from my home. I have the money to buy them and I do want to do that."

Mayweather, nicknamed 'Money,' has made some big bucks thanks to his stellar career that recently saw him beat Argentine boxer Maidana in a top fight at the MGM Grand Casino Hotel. In fact, the hotel is so fascinated by the fighter, that it has showered him with some very expensive gifts.

"They have just bought me a USD 1.6m Bugatti car when the fight sold out and a USD 400,000 watch a few weeks ago. It's a Rolex with emeralds and there are only four in the USA," said Mayweather proudly.
