Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant told US Olympic basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski on Tuesday that he'll play in the London Games if the United States want him.
Bryant was a guest on Krzyzewski's SIRIUS XM radio show on Tuesday and the Duke University coach asked the Lakers guard about London.
"You guys want me there, I am there and I'm ready to defend," Bryant said. "And then when you guys need me to put some points on the board I'll do that, too."
Bryant was a starter on the American team that won gold at the 2008 Beijing Games.
