Lewis Hamilton is already relishing the start of season 2010, despite ending his reign as world champion.
McLaren star Hamilton who was on pole for F1's first day-night race in Abu Dhabi, led for the first 16 laps until his first pit stop. But four laps later, was forced to retire with a right-rear brake issue. "I had a good start but realised early on something wasn't right with the brakes. After three or four laps, it became clear there was a problem with my right-rear brake pad. When the problem got worse, the team radioed me and to stop at the end of the lap," said Hamilton, who saw his team finish third in the constructors' championship.
He now wants his world championship back next year.
"It's been an incredible year, and now I can't wait for next season to start so I can fight for the world championship again," he said.
