The final of the inaugural BCCI Corporate Trophy will be an all-Air India affair on Tuesday.

Yesterday, Harbhajan Singh-led Air India Blue beat Tata Sports Club in the semi-final played at PCA Stadium, Mohali to set up a title clash with the Yuvraj Singh-led Air India Red. Air India Blue won by five wickets via the VJD method. Tata Sports Club were all out for 267 in 49.4 overs and Air India reached the revised target (247/5) in 43.2 overs. Air India Blue coach Praveen Amre assured that the final will be as keenly contested as it would have been against any other rival. "A final is a final, and it is a chance for the players to be part of history as it is the inaugural Corporate tournament. Even if it is an all-Air India game, both teams will go all out," said Amre.

"We are happy to justify asking the BCCI for two entries. We have a large pool of players and a lot of the talent would have been wasted if we had played only one team. We worked a lot on making two equally balanced teams," added Amre.

For Amre, it will be an awkward situation as most of Air India, Mumbai players are playing for the Red team and will be his opponents in the final. "The management wanted me to handle the Blue team because of my experience.u00a0 For me it is like being transferred to Delhi," he said with a chuckle.
