Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews had brought a USD 75 million lawsuit against stalker Michael Barrett and the owner and operator of the Nashville Marriott, where the nearly five-minute video was filmed in 2008.
During her testimony in the high-profile case, Andrews, who worked for ESPN at the time of the incident, said that she had been left deeply traumatized and now checks out hotel rooms she stays in to avoid become victim again to a Peeping Tom.
Barrett, who posted the footage of Andrews online, had previously pleaded guilty to stalking and was sentenced to prison time.
Thanking the court and the jury, Andrews, who also co-hosts "Dancing with the Stars," tweeted: "The support I've received from the people of Nashville has been overwhelming. I would also like to thank my family, friends and legal team. I've been honored by all the support from victims around the world."
