Asian Champion Suranjoy Singhu00a0 won one of the easiest fights of his life yesterday, when after only one punch the referee awarded him the bout.
The Manipur boxer won the gold in 25 seconds after he landed one hard blow that floored his Mauritian opponent Oliver Lavigi. "I never imagined it would be so easy. It's definitely a night to remember. I hope we get this kind of support from the home crowd during the Commonwealth Games too," Suranjoy said.
