Dipika Pallikal and Dinesh Karthik are lucky charms for each other. The first time the two went to watch each other play in big tournaments, they both ended up winners.
In an interview to promote a new mobile handset, Dipika recently revealed that the first time she ever saw Karthik playing cricket was in 2013, when he represented the Mumbai Indians, and they went on to win the title.
Karthik too recalled how he traveled to watch her play in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, where she won a historic medal for the country. "You won the doubles gold medal there and I felt very special to be a part of that," said Karthik.
The couple married have been married since August 2015.
