World number one Novak Djokovic insisted on Thursday that seeing his hopes of Grand Slam history shattered at the French Open has only sharpened his appetite for more success at Wimbledon.

The Serb had been hoping to become just the third man to hold all four Grand Slam titles at once by winning at Roland Garros, but he went down to defeat in a rain-hit final to Rafael Nadal.
