Shivaji Park Youngsters (SPY), who bowled out Young Mohammedan CC for 29 in their Dr HD Kanga Cricket League opener on August 15, bundled out Palghar Dahanu Taluka Sports Association (PDTSA) for 27 yesterday at Shivaji Park Gymkhana in a 'B' division match.

The medium pace duo of Fahim Athanikar (5 for 7) and Meghan Pednekar (five for 18) did the damage as SPY won on the first innings.

Athanikar, a Mumbai U-19 probable, told mid-day: "I am enjoying the support and confidence of my teammates and from my opening partner Meghan in particular. That's why I've been able to perform consistently this season."
Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun claimed 5 for 36 with his left-arm medium pace for Amar CC who dismissed Star CC for 77 in a 'C' division match at Young Zorastrian ground, Azad Maidan.
However, Tendulkar's effort went in vain as Amar CC were bowled out for 68. Star CC clinched three points on the basis of a first innings lead. Tanmay Wadekar (53) and Araf Shaikh (7 for 35) were the star performers for Star CC.
In the 'A' division, Payyade SC claimed first innings points against Apollo CC at the Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana in Kandivali. Leg spinner Dinesh Salunkhe claimed 6 for 39 while Mumbai pacer Shardul Thakur took 4 for 32 to bowl out Apollo for 110. Payyade SC in response, scored 139 for five declared with Akhil Herwadkar scoring 75.
