India's female sports stars seem to be having a ball of a time and how! Tennis star Sania Mirza along with badminton sensations PV Sindhu and doubles partners Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa look way too cool together. How do we know?
Ashwini Ponnappa shared a picture on her Instagram account of the 4 female sports athletes in one frame smiling away for a selife.
Sania Mirza may not have had and ideal run at Rio like Jwala-Ashwini, but she sure made amends when she won the Cincinnati Open women's doubles final defeating her former partner Martina Hingis.
PV Sindhu, however, has been living it up as she created history to be the first Indian shuttler to win a silver medal at the Olympics. She is among the only two Indian athletes to bring home a medal - the other being Sakshi Malik.
