Nicole Scherzinger has rubbished reports of a romance with rapper and close pal French Montana after the duo were seen at a popular nightspot Tao in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve.

Former Pussycat Dolls singer Scherzinger, who is currently dating tennis player Grigor Dimitrov, insists that her relationship with the 32-year-old rapper is strictly platonic. Reports of the new romance emerged after Nicole went to Hawaii for her holidays without Grigor to be with her family.
"These claims are absurd. They have known each other for years and are friends," a spokesperson told MailOnline.
According to sources, the 38-year-old singer got cosy with French post his New Year's Eve performance at the nightspot. French is currently dating Australian rapper Iggy Azalea.
"They were very affectionate and had their hands on each other's legs. They were hugging and couldn't take their eyes off of each other all night," a party-goer told People magazine.
