>> In 1990, John McEnroe became the first ever tennis player to be expelled from the Australian Open. He began glaring at a lineswoman angrily when he thought she made a bad call.
>> Steffi Graf is also the only player in tennis history to win a Golden Slam ((1988 Australian Open, 1988 French Open, 1988 Wimbledon Championships, 1988 US Open & 1988 Olympic gold medal).
