Buoyant Mumbai produced another impressive performance to record a creditable 2-1 win over a formidable Hockey Karnataka in a opening Pool 'D' league match of the 5th Hockey India Senior Men National 'A' Division Championship at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune yesterday.
Davinder Walmiki was the hero of Mumbai's win as he fired home the first goal and then set up Victo Singh to score the second goal, while Pradhan Sommana pulled one back for the Karnataka side.
