"I have been unlucky twice (Athens and Beijing), hope I get third time lucky," said Narang, who missed out on the final by a point at Beijing in 2008.
"An athlete's ultimate ambition is to win and I am determined to go all the way and do whatever it takes," the 29-year-old Hyderabadi said.
Narang will represent the country along with Beijing Games gold-medallist Abhinav Bindra in 10m air rifle on July 30. Besides he will also compete in the 50m Rifle Prone (August 3) and 50m Rifle 3 Position (August 6) at the the Royal Artillery Barracks - the shooting venue for the quadrennial event.
"Olympics is everyone's dream. All I can say after representing the country twice already is that I have better control keys," he signed off.u00a0
