After claiming the Rogers Cup title by teaming up with Bahamian Mark Knowles, India's Mahesh Bhupathi quipped he should own a house in Canada.
Bhupathi and Knowles, seeded third, made short work ofu00a0 Max Mirnyi of Belarus and Israeli Andy Ram in Sunday's final, winning 6-4, 6-3.
This was Bhupathi first title of the season and fifth Canadian doubles title four in Montreal and one in Toronto.
An elated Bhupathi revealed: "I was joking with my coach that now I should probably buy a flat here since it is my fifth title in Canada."
Bhupathi and Knowles now have a a 4-6 Tour record in doubles finals, Rogers Cup being their first title since they won at Basel in October after coming together last year.
