Indian wrestlers bagged seven medals to win the recently-concluded Asian Junior Wrestling Championships at Jakarta, Indonesia


Indian wrestlers bagged seven medals to win the recently-concluded Asian Junior Wrestling Championships at Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Indian Junior Free Style Team won the tournament for the first time in history by securing 67 points. Korea and Kazakhstan secured 61 points each to grab the second spot. Iran finished third with 60 points.

Amit Kumar (55Kg), Arun Kumar (66Kg) and Sumit Sehrawat (74Kg) won the gold, while Deepak (50Kg) and Krishan (96Kg) won silver. Pawan Kumar (84Kg) and Hitender (120Kg) bagged bronze. ufffd
