Formula One champion Jenson Button's girlfriend Jessica Michibata was in Tokyo when Japan was hit with a devastating earthquake yesterday.
The racing driver resorted to sending the 26-year-old model messages over Twitter when his attempts to reach her by phone failed.
Michibata, who was in a basement on a photo shoot at the time of the quake, is safe and sound and has been updating her friends across the world on the social networking site.
"I'm ok everyone, thank you for worrying about me. it was a scary stuff but I'm fine now!," the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.
