The Serb routed Bernard Tomic of Australia 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 to make the last 16 and then proceeded to sign an array of hats, balls and programmes on Centre Court. But as he reached the end of the line of fans hoping for an autograph, a disabled man in a wheelchair handed him his prosthetic leg to sign.
"The gentleman gave me his artificial leg...I want to be politically correct about it," smiled the 29-year-old Djokovic. "I gave him my signature. I hope it will make him feel better."
