Catholic Gymkhana struck prime form and stormed to an emphatic 5-0 win against GKW Rangers in a Div-II match of the MDFA league at the St Xavier's Ground, Parel yesterday.
John Fernandes and Terrence Pereira scored a brace each for Catholic Gym in the first half. Skipper Gavin Fernandes then converted a penalty in the second half to complete the tally.
Results (MDFA Div-II): Athens XI 2 (Sumit N, Arshad S) beat Charcop United 0; Our Lady of Fatima 4 (Viraj Kamble 2, Rohit Awasti, Ransom Dantis) beat Tarun Sporting 2 (Tabish Mulla 2).
