Best friends Renee Talati and Tricia Colaco were both on the score-sheet yesterday. In fact, right winger Renee is the Fort school's top scorer this season with three goals in three matches.
Meanwhile, midfielder Tricia, who switched schools in 2013 just to play football, is one goal behind.
After the first half ended goalless yesterday, the two friends combined in the 29th minute to score the Fort outfit's first goal. Renee tapped Tricia's pass from the centre of the pitch into the bottom right corner of the goal.
Tricia then doubled their lead by chipping the ball over Bombay International goalkeeper Alicia Vohra in the 44th minute.
"I love playing football and I changed my school so that I can play the sport, as my previous school (St Agnes High School) did not have a football team. Renee and I have been friends ever since we met each other at training," said Tricia.
"We have an understanding between us. We always try to find space so that we can make an attempt at the goal," Renee added.
