Mercedes have decided not to appeal against the 20-second penalty imposed against Michael Schumacher following Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix.
The German manufacturing giant had initially declared their intention to do so within minutes of a decision by the stewards that relegated seven-time world champion Schumacher from sixth to 12th, and so out of the points positions.
The penalty was imposed after Schumacher passed Ferrari's Fernando Alonso at the final corner of the last lap after the safety car had peeled into the pits following an accident involving Lotus' Jarno Trulli and Karun Chandhok of Hispania Racing.
