Nandagopal, Maneesha win Maldives International Badminton Challenge mixed doubles title

In the women's singles, Tanvi Lad could make it to the quarterfinals before she was handed a 11-21 19-21 defeat by Li Michelle of Canada. In the men's doubles category, India's campaign ended in the semifinals after the pair of V Diju and Alwin Francis were outplayed 16-21 16-21 by the Indonesian duo of Arya.
