Oklahoma City Thunder guard Nate Robinson will be sidelined up to six weeks after arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, the NBA team yesterday.

Thunder general manager Sam Presti said Robinson first experienced discomfort in the knee after practice on Monday. Presti says the team's medical personnel and Robinson decided surgery was the best option "to resolve the issue with certainty."

The team said the surgery was successful. Oklahoma acquired Robinson on Feb 24 in a trade with Boston Celtics. He made his debut on Wednesday, scoring six points in a 113-89 win over Indiana.
