Narain Karthikeyan's comeback to Formula One was pushed ahead by a few days yesterday after his Hispania Racing Team had an exemption request turned down by race stewards which means Karthikeyan and fellow driveru00a0and Vitantonio Liuzzi will miss out on Sunday's Australian GP. Liuzzi and Karthikeyan were tail-enders in Saturday's qualifying and ineligible to race because under the re-introduced '107 per cent' rule they were more than seven per cent slower than session winner Sebastian Vettel.u00a0Liuzzi missed the cut-off by around 1.7 seconds while Karthikeyan was over by just over three seconds.
