The Delhi High Court yesterday issued notice to former Commonwealth Games Organising Committee chief Suresh Kalmadi, an accused in a graft case, on a plea opposing his visit to London during the Olympics there later this month

A division bench of Acting Chief Justice AK Sikri and Justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw sought a response from Kalmadi and the Indian Olympic Association within three days.

Kalmadi, standing trial for alleged irregularities in the conduct of the 2010 Commonwealth Games here, is out on bail. He plans to visit London from July 26 to Aug 13. The court would next hear the matter July 24.
