India's Leander Paes and Czech Lukas Dlouhy lost to Swede Simon Aspelin and Australian Paul Hanley 2-6, 3-6, in the final of the $2 million Dubai tennis championships.


India's Leander Paes and Czech Lukas Dlouhy lost to Swede Simon Aspelin and Australian Paul Hanley 2-6, 3-6, in the final of the $2 million Dubai tennis championships.

Paes, who will leave here for Moscow after Saturday's final to play in the first round of the Davis Cup World Group tie against Russia from March 5-7, gained 300 points and a share of the runners-up $53,320.

Paes and Dlouhy, who lost the match in less than an hour, were outplayed by the Swedish-Australian combination.
