New York: US swimmer Ryan Lochte's controversial mugging episode in Rio could well have earned him a multi-million dollar contract with Playgirl, an American magazine that features general lifestyle articles in addition to semi-nude or fully nude pictures of men.
"We are reaching out to Ryan with an offer. Now that he's out of his Speedo sponsorship deal, Playgirl wants to get Ryan Lochte out of his Speedos," says Daniel Nardicio, a spokesperson for Playgirl.
Lochte lost most of his sponsorship deals after it was learnt that he and his friends faked a robbery story during the Rio Olympics last month.
