Prajakta Sawant may be sent to Europe

BAI has in principle agreed to clear her name for the European circuit but as things stand, she may not "merit selection" on her ranking to be part of the national squad. That means she will have to fend for herself and that will be a heavy financial burden on her.

BAI secretary general Vijai Sinha said Sawant's case is under consideration and a decision will be taken in a day or two.
