Ranchi: Punjab Warriors edged out defending champs Ranchi Rhinos 3-2 to make their maiden Hockey India League (HIL) final on Saturday. Sandeep Singh scored twice for the Warriors while Jake Whetton scored their third goal.
The Rhinos, meanwhile, scored through Ashley Jackson andFloris Evers. The Warriors will face Delhi Waveriders who pipped Uttar Pradesh Wizards 1-0 in the other semi-final, thanks to a goal from Yuvraj Walmiki.
