Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers clinch 15th Remedian Open Floodlit Rink hockey title

Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers (RCF) registered a 2-0 win over Indian Navy to lift the 15th Remedian Open Floodlit Rink hockey tournament title at Our Lady of Remedy School ground, Kandivli on Saturday.

RCF were awarded Rs 10,000, while Indian Navy had to settle for Rs 7000 for coming second.

RCF took the lead through Dhananjoy Singh. RCF leading 1-0 at the breather, added another through a fine combined move of Vinay Walmiki and Singh.

RCF's goalkeeper Karan Thakur's terrific work under the bar earned him the man-of-the-match award.
