Reigning decathlon champ Clay stumbles

Reigning Olympic decathlon champion Bryan Clay was disqualified from the event after a stumble in the 110m hurdles on Saturday at the US Olympic trials, dooming his bid to repeat in London.


Clay planted his left foot into the crossbar of the penultimate hurdle and fell forward, pushing down the last hurdle and finishing last in his heat.Sahana Kumari qualifies Meanwhile, Karnataka high jumper Sahana Kumari became the 14 Indian athlete to qualify for the Olympics after she cleared 1.92m during the National Inter-State Senior Athletics meet on Saturday.
