Rising Star won the 25th Aishwarya Paradkar Memorial Monsoon Premier League cricket tournament in Chembur beating Ratnadeep XI by four wickets in a closely contested final recently.

In the summit clash, Ratnadeep XI batting first, scored 24 runs in their alloted five overs. In reply, Rising Star achieved the target in just 3.1 overs ball.
Former India coach Lalchand Rajput and film star Rahul Roy were the chief guests at the occasion and gave away a cash award of R50,000 to Rising Star while Ratnadeep XI were richer by Rs 25,000.
