Netherlands' Arjen Robben |
The Dutch star winger appears to have fully recovered from the left hamstring injury that kept him out of Holland's first two games here having suffered in injury in a warm-up match against Hungary on June 5. A decision on Robben playing tonight may be pending, but the player himself is raring to go. "It's possible that I get my first minutes against Cameroon. I want to play. I have to have game-time in order to rediscover my feeling and the rhythm of the matches," said Robben, who missed Holland's 2-0 and 1-0 wins over Denmark and Japan respectively.
Conversely, this could well be 29-year-old Eto'o final appearance in a World Cup finals ufffd a situation arrived at by the team's two defeats here.
"All my season was focused to be ready for this World Cup. It's the only thing I could think about. It's hard. It's not normal for us to finish last," said Eto'o who won his second consecutive Champions League crown, this time for Inter after helping Barcelona win in 2009 crown, before sounding an Oranje warning. "Now, I want to finish with dignity in the last game and that's most important for me."
Regardless of who makes his mark ufffd the incoming winger or outgoing striker ufffd a breath-taking tie is in the offing.
