India beat hot weather (34 degree celsius) clubbed with high humidity and a formidable home side in Brunei to lift the Plate Final of the Asian 7s Circuit Brunei yesterday.

India beat hot weather (34 degree celsius) clubbed withu00a0 high humidity and a formidable home side in Brunei to lift the Plate Final of the Asian 7s Circuit Brunei yesterday.


India beat Brunei 34-5 with the team displaying an excellent all-round performance. The highlight of the final was some swift passes, excellent ball control and perfect strategic execution. Tries for the team were from Rohaan Sethna, Dhananjay Prasad, Thim-maiah Madanda, Rohit Sivach and two conversions by Rohaan Sethna.

The Indian team reached the Plate Final, by winning the round robin match against Brunei 12-5 but losing the semi-final against Phillippines 10-0.
