India's Saina Nehwal extracted sweet revenge by beating Hong Kong's Pui Yin Yip, who had ousted her from last month's Guangzhou Asian Games, in the quarter-finals of the Hong Kong Open Super Series yesterday.
Saina defeated Yin 21-11, 21-10 in just 27 minutes at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium here. Saina next plays Germany's Juliane Schenk in the semi-finals on Saturday. Schenk beat China's Yanjiao Jiang 21-14, 16-21, 21-12 in the quarters.
