India's Saina Nehwal moved into the women's singles semi-final of the Japan Open Super Series badminton with a 21-17, 21-13 defeat of Singapore's Juan Gu here yesterday.
Saina, seeded fourth, coasted to victory in mere 29 minutes. The Hyderabadi next meets eighth-seed Juliane Schenk of Germany against whom she leads 5-2 head-to-head.
