Saina Nehwal regained the World No. 2 ranking in the latest rankings released by the Badminton World Federation on Thursday.
The 20-year-old now has 68,811 points to her tally. She is 2,381 points shy of World No 1 Xin Wang of China (71,192). Another Chinese, Shixian Wang, is ranked No 3 (67,176).
Following her Hong Kong Super Series win Saina has reached her highest ranking ever, she was No 2 in July.
