American tennis star Serena Williams has made a jump of 153 places to acquire the 28th spot in Women's Tennis Association (WTA) rankings.
The 36-year-old, who was out of action after giving birth to daughter Alexis Olympia, had slipped to the 181st position but made a solid comeback in the recently concluded Wimbledon Championship where she ended up as the runner-up.
Meanwhile, German tennis player Angelique Kerber crashed into the top 4 after her extraordinary performance in the Wimbledon where she emerged victorious.
The reigning US Open champion Sloane Stephens has made a jump of one place to secure the third spot in the list.
