Suzuka (Japan): Mexican Sergio Perez will stay on with Force India next year alongside German Nico Hulkenberg for a third season with the Silverstone based squad, the team announced yesterday. "I am very happy to confirm that I will be staying with Sahara Force India," Perez said in a statement.

"I've always said I want to establish myself in a team and it's the right moment to announce my commitment for the future with Sahara Force India. I can feel the potential in the team and there is a good energy, which gives me confidence for next year." Perez joined Force India at the start of the 2014 season after a troubled one-year stint with McLaren.
The 25-year-old raced to a podium at last year's race in Bahrain, only the second-ever rostrum result for the team under the Force India banner. He currently sits ninth in the championship standings, nine points ahead of teammate Hulkenberg, having scored in eight of the 13 races so far.
Force India, currently fifth in the constructors' standings, had already confirmed Hulkenberg for next season. With Perez also staying on, they head into 2016 with an unchanged driver line-up.
