Shaun, Hussain to train at Queens Park Rangers

Thanks to Member of Parliament Milind Deora, school footballers Shaun Fernandes and Hussain Vahanvaty have the opportunity to visit the Queens Park Rangers in the United Kingdom for a six-week coaching clinic.

The 14-year-olds from St Paul's St Paul(Dadar) and St Mary's ICSE (Mazgaon) respectively are the winners of the South Mumbai Junior Soccer Challenge 2009u00a0 --an initiative sponsored by Deora --were felicitated by All India Football Federationu00a0 president Praful Patel and Deora.


Shaun and Hussain emerged victors from among 1700 children. Several rounds later, 30 were shortlisted and underwent strenuous training sessions after which the two were picked.
