Deepika, supported by Olympic Gold Quest, entered the final by virtue of beating two Mexican archers: London Olympics silver medalist Aida Roman in the quarter-final, followed by World No 11 Alejandra Valencia in the semi-final. In the finals, Deepika lost a closely-fought match 4-6 to World No 2 Yun Ok Hee of Korea. This is Deepika's fourth straight appearance in the World Cup Finals and she qualified by virtue of the silver medal in the World Cup at Shanghai earlier this year.
