Su Chaliyo for Pelican Trophy

The Pelican Trophy, the class I affair over a mile, has been slated as the feature event of Saturday's nine-race card which also boasts of five other trophy events. Though the race wears a very open look on paper, I think Su Chaliyo, with Rajendra to guide him, can trick Dear Henry, Desert Rule and Angelo with little luck.

The best betting proposition of the card presents itself in the very first race in the form of Cavalryman. The MP Jodha-trained four-year-old has an excellent chance to gain his maiden victory in this set. Bullet, who has finally regained winning form, should provide an encore, and shapes as a good bet in the Menorah Trophy.
