Online users troll Canadian tennis beauty Eugenie Bouchard after she asks fans for costume ideas
Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard found herself on the wrong end of Twitter trolls when she asked her fans to provide suggestions on what she should wear for this year's Halloween. The spooky event is a celebration observed in a number of countries on October 31, the eve of the Catholic feast All Saints' Day.

World No. 79 Bouchard, who was ranked No. 5 in 2014, before a downward spiral saw her reeling in the bottom of the rankings, tweeted: "What should I be for Halloween?" One of her fans may have crossed the line while asking Bouchard to be dope-tainted Russian tennis ace Maria Sharapova's doppelganger. "Something that scares you a lot. Sharapova, for example," he wrote. Another user demanded a place back in the top five. "A top five tennis player," he wrote while another said: "Isn't Halloween more for children than grownups?"
Some trolls took a dig at Bouchard's sense of fashion. "You can just wear your tennis outfits. It is a Halloween costume for those that don't play." Another troll targeted her personality. "A grown-up who takes her tennis career seriously."
