Started young
"I got hooked on to the sport as a nine-year-old. We used to play the sport in our building. This is the first time I'm playing with 16-year-old kids. I didn't feel scared as I regularly practice with my teammates in school," the Goregaon resident said.
Vibgyor were leading 4-2 at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Goregaon school failed to score any points while the Bandra school scored one point from a free throw to end 4-3.
The Goregaon outfit came back strongly in the third quarter and took a nine-point lead while St Joseph's could not tally a single point.
In the fourth quarter, Vibgyor continued their great form and scored 10 points while St Joseph's managed to add just four points to their score.
