The only way to tell between Leesha and Latisha Shah is their hairstyle. Leesha sports a shorter crop than her identical twin Latisha. Born just a minute before Latisha, Leesha boasts of being elder but claims she never uses that to her advantage.

But one among many things common between the twins is the joy they derive seeing the perplexity on their opponents face during table tennis doubles matches.

"Often, ouru00a0 opponents find it difficult to recognise who's who when we play. They frequently protest saying that only one of us is serving." Leesha said jokingly.

Students of Cathedral, Leesha and Latisha are partnering each other for the past six years and share an extraordinary understanding. But they dislike being pitted against each other.

"We know each other's game so well that it gets boring when we have to compete against each other. It is Leesha who always gets the better of me," Latisha said

Top seed in the inter-school table tennis doubles championship, the sisters booked themselves a birth in the semi-final after defeating Nidhi Shetty and Nidhi Poojary of Pawar Public High School 11-4, 11-3 and 11-5 in the Nike MSSA inter-school table tennis tournament for girls' under-14 at the University Sports Pavilion yesterday.

However, there was more joy for them as both advanced to the fourth round in the singles category as well.
