The newly elected Mumbai Hockey Association committee is all set to kick off a series of hockey tournaments that include the Late Major Dhyan Chand Cup for boys under-16 (August 29 & 30), a unique Minky Hockey inter-school tournament for boys U-12 (August 30) and the annual Super League (September 4-17).
Four outstation teamsu00a0- Goa, Pune, Jalgaon, Murbadu00a0u00a0- in addition to 12 local teams are scheduled to participate in the Dhyan Chand tourney, while 16u00a0 of the city's top schools will play in the Minky Hockey tournament.
Players participating in the U-12 tournament will be receiving a free hockey stick each.
